DAVE ROSE ROKETWERKS

It all started immediately after Dave Rose designed and built his first scratch-built model rocket. Naturally, he had to have some sort of name or design on the rocket…something to tell it apart from the rest, something to say: "It's Mine!" Dave paid a visit to a local sign company that he had done some business with, and after a brief question and answer session, realized that he could have vinyl lettering cut at a pretty reasonable price.

As he showed up at launches with more and more custom lettered rockets, a few of his fellow members started asking him to design items for them. One thing led to another, and before long he was designing banners and custom logos as well, but he still had to take them to a sign shop to have them produced. The more he thought about it, the more sense it made to purchase a vinyl cutter, and do all the work himself.

Since mid 2004, when he made his initial investment, he has gradually been building ROKETWERKS, his business, and expanding into other markets.
